Italian Brand Morbidelli Debuts in Nepal with ADVs, Cruiser and Naked Bikes

The Italian premium motorcycle brand Morbidelli has officially entered the Nepali market, introducing a new lineup of high-end motorcycles targeted at enthusiasts and premium segment buyers.

Backed by Vaidya Organization, Morbidelli’s debut lineup spans cruisers, naked streetfighters, and full-fledged adventure tourers—effectively covering a wide spectrum of aspirational riders in Nepal.

In a strategic move to improve pricing competitiveness and supply efficiency, Morbidelli is assembling most of its lineup locally. Except for the flagship T1002VX, all models—including the C252V, T352X, F352, and T502X—are being assembled at the company’s joint facility in Parsa.

This localized approach not only helps in cost optimization but also signals long-term commitment to the Nepali market—something increasingly important in the premium motorcycle segment.

The T352X is built as an entry-level adventure tourer, featuring a 349cc parallel-twin engine producing 41 hp and 31.5 Nm of torque. It gets long-travel suspension, Bosch ABS with off-road mode, and a 7-inch TFT display with navigation and connectivity features. With an 18-liter fuel tank and efficient fuel consumption, it offers a range of up to 400 km, making it well-suited for long-distance touring.

Morbidelli F352

Positioned as a sporty street motorcycle, the F352 shares its 349cc twin-cylinder platform with the T352X but is tuned for road-focused dynamics. It emphasizes aggressive styling, lightweight handling, and everyday usability for urban riders and enthusiasts.

The T502X sits in the mid-capacity adventure segment, offering a balance between touring capability and daily usability. While detailed figures vary, it is designed as a versatile ADV with twin-cylinder performance, upright ergonomics, and touring-ready hardware.

Morbidelli T1002VX

The flagship adventure model is powered by a 997cc V-Twin engine producing approximately 88.5 hp and 89 Nm of torque. It features fully adjustable KYB suspension, J.Juan braking with Bosch ABS Pro, multiple riding modes, and advanced electronics including connectivity features. With a 6-speed gearbox, 820 mm seat height, and a kerb weight of around 265 kg, the T1002VX is positioned as a full-fledged long-distance ADV tourer.

Morbidelli enters a segment already shaped by strong players like KTM and CFMOTO, both of which have established a firm grip in Nepal’s premium and mid-capacity motorcycle space.

However, Morbidelli’s approach appears distinct. Instead of focusing on a single segment, it brings a complete ecosystem—from sub-300cc cruisers to liter-class ADVs—paired with a strong emphasis on features, electronics, and touring capability. This positions the brand not just as a performance contender, but as a lifestyle-oriented alternative—especially for riders looking for something less mainstream.

To support its premium positioning, Morbidelli has established a new showroom in Naxal, offering customers a first-hand experience of the lineup. Service operations have already begun in Tinkune, with expansion planned for Uttardhoka.

Given Vaidya Organization’s prior success with Ather, expectations around after-sales support and customer experience are likely to be high—and crucial to Morbidelli’s long-term success.

If executed well, Morbidelli could tap into a growing base of riders ready to move beyond conventional choices. But in a market where brand trust and service reach often outweigh spec sheets, its real test begins now.
